Colombian Arabica grows at high altitudes in small estates, is carefully harvested and treated with the wet method. The main production area is located close to the Andean chain called “zona cafetera”, Armenia, Manizales and Medellin are the origins. The coffee coming from the Medellin area is called COLOMBIA MEDELLIN SUPREMO to indicate the size of the bean and the careful selection of the quality that must respect the highest standards of this fine coffee. The favorable climatic conditions with temperatures between 8 and 24 degrees, geographical, they are in fact in the tropical Andean bush between 1,300 and 1,700 m., and geological, determine a production of high and fine quality coffee. Colombian coffee is a delicate and light coffee appreciated all over the world. The aroma is rich and balanced with a strong body and considerable fullness. The acidity varies from light to medium and the yield in the cup is definitely in favor of this coffee which, while maintaining lightness, has a persistent flavor, slightly fruity but maintaining a clean taste. The intense aroma and soft flavor recall the origins of this fine coffee, the extensive plantations of this generous and beautiful land.
